HL105 has better strength materials than HS221. As a common material for hard metal, HL-S105 features high strength and low cost. It is widely used in brazing of cutters, saws, mine bit tools, and other high strength brazing.

HL105 has good flow wettability. Wettability makes a huge difference to welding performance. Manganese could improve wettability of filler metal in hard metal. 

HL105 has higher welding strength. Because of manganese and  minor iron in HL105, the shear strength of seam could be 200 to 300 MPa. In addition, HL105 has high temperature strength. The shear strength of HL105 could be 150-220 MPa in the surrounding of 320°C. So the carbide cutter and drilling tool brazed by our HL105 filler metal are suitable for long operation with high strength, and carry out all of they function. 

 

HL105 has good hot ductility. Hot ductility directly influence welding stress and quenching performance. Compared with HL62, the ductility of HL105 is twice increase. This if good for decreasing welding stress, and avoiding hard metal cracking.
