Aluminum Alloy ER4047/4043/5356/1100 Brazing/Welding Rod
ER4043,Normally as ALSi1, ER4043 is an aluminum filler metal that contains 5% silicon. It is applicable to MIG or TIG welding processing of bobbins or longitudinal notches.

DESCRIPTION/APPLICATION
Huazhong Alloy ER4043 is a 5% silicon aluminium. This alloy is recommended for welding 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, 6063 and casting alloys 43,335,356 and 214. Our aluminium brazing alloy ER4043 has a melting rang of 573-632°C and a density of .097 lbs./cu.in. The post anodizing color tint of the weld area is gray.

Tensile strength: Above 160MPa
Yield strength: 125MPa

FEATURES:
It has good fluidity and excellent anti--thermal crack ability, but low ductility and toughness. After anodized, the 4043 filler metal would be grey, and grown dark than base metal. When brazing 5000 series Al-Mg alloy with 4043, it is easy to form fragile Mg2Si compound, and make ductility and corrosion resistance lower. So it is not suitable for brazing al-Mg alloy.
USAGES:
Boats and ships, motorcycle, chemical engineering, food, mould, house furnishings,container etc.
CAUTION:
1.Get rid of the oxide and grease spots on the surface of the brazing alloy, or bad integration will lead to defect of the blowhole and slag inclusion.
2.Sole plate could be used to prop the melting metal when brazing.
ER5356 is an aluminum filler metal that contains 5% magnesium. It is widely used for welding or surface build-up brazing of cast-forged aluminium alloys containing 5% of magnesium Featuring high strength, good ductility and excellentcorrosion-resistance, ER5356 could provide good color for anodized welding.

DESCRIPTION/APPLICATION
Our ER5356 is a 5% magnesium aluminium filler metal. The weld deposit of this filler metal offers good corrosion resistance when exposed to salt water. This alloy is commonly used on base metals 5050,5052,5083,5356,5454 and 5456. The post-anodizing color tint of the weld area is white.

ER1100 is a filler metal that contains above 90% aluminium. It is applicable to MIG or TIG welding processing of bobbins or longitudinal notches. ER1100 is habitually used in building, decoration, equipment, metallurgical, piping, textile apparatus and other sectors and is normally used for 1100 and 3003 base materials or base materials similar to 3003 as well as 1060, 1070, 1080 and 1350. The welding stick takes on a slightly golden color after anodic treatment and the tensile strength of the weld seam is 110 MP. ER1100 exhibits golden after anodized treatment. The strength of joint will be 110MPa.ER1100 aluminium brazing alloy contains above 90% aluminium. Featuring excellent corrosion-resistance, superior electric and thermal conductivity, and excellent workability. ER1100 is an recommended welding alloy providing good color for anodized brazing materials.

ER4047,Normally as ALSi2,ER4047 is an aluminum filler metal that contains 12% silicon. This alloy is not only fit for MIG or TIG application, but can be supplied as a copper brazing alloy for ordinary application. It has a good corrosion resistance and is an alloy welding stick that is well received for copper brazing or aluminium soldering. It may be used for welding such base materials as 1060, 1350, 3003, 3004, 3005, 5005, 5050, 6053, 6061, 6951 or 7005 as well as casting alloy 710.0 or 711.0. The melting point temperature of ER4047 is about 1,070-1,080°F and it takes on a blackish grey color after anodic treatment. Alloy 4047 was originally designed for brazing and has a higher silicon contact than alloy 4043 which increases fluidity, reduces shrinkage and minimum hot-cracking. Our 4047 can sustain relatively elevated service temperature and is often used in the automotive industry.
